In fulfilment of the obligation to provide information pursuant to Article 13(1) (2) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: “GDPR”, please be informed that:

- Your personal data will be processed when: (a) the processing is necessary for the performance of the contract to which the data subject is a party, or to take action at the request of the data subject, before concluding the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), (b) processing is necessary to fulfil the legal obligation incumbent on the Controller (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR); (c) processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person (Article 6(1)(d) GDPR); (d) processing is necessary for purposes deriving from legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, except when the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, requiring personal data protection, prevail over those interests particularly when the data subject is a child (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- The recipients of your personal data will include relevant persons, entities, courts, offices, governmental and self-governmental institutions, specified by statutory provisions, within the scope resulting from the activities performed as a part of the legal assistance provided, as well as the entity providing accounting services to the Law Firm, in the scope of data resulting from accounting documents issued to you by the Law Firm.
- Your personal data will be kept for the necessary period until the expiration of civil law claims or completion of the legal assistance service.
- You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data, the right to access your personal data, the right to demand that your personal data be corrected, the right to demand that your personal data be erased, the right to demand that the processing of your personal data be restricted, the right to object to the processing of your data on account of your particular situation - in cases where the Law Firm processes your data on the basis of its legitimate interest, as well as the right to data portability (the right to data portability applies only to the data processed on the basis of an agreement with you or on the basis of your consent).
- Your personal data will not be transferred to any third country/international organisation.
- The disclosure of your personal data is necessary for the proper performance of legal assistance. Failing to provide certain personal data may result in the Law Firm's inability to provide its services properly.
- Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
- Your personal data will not be processed by automated means, including profiling.
- If the processing of your personal data violates applicable laws, you are entitled to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
